Hollymead is an established neighborhood conveniently located in northern Albemarle County with easy access to downtown Charlottesville, the University of Virginia, shopping, and area attractions. It boasts over 30 acres of common area, including Lake Hollymead and miles of paved trails, and is within walking distance of Hollymead Elementary and Sutherland Middle School. Membership is optional to the popular Hollymead Pool. Hollymead was developed in the 1970’s and was completed around 1993.
